Responsibilities
- Create software requirements and define static and dynamic software architecture.
- Design and implement embedded software modules, interfaces, and algorithms.
- Perform unit-level verification, module integration, and software-software and software-hardware integration testing in host and target environments.
- Analyze issues identified during testing campaigns or in-service usage.
- Manage software configuration and support software lifecycle activities from specification through verification.
- Maintain awareness of compliance risks and act with integrity.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with embedded software requirements engineering and static and dynamic architecture.
- Experience in module-level design, interface and algorithm development, embedded programming, and unit and integration testing.
- Experience across the full software lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, coding, and verification in industrialized domains.
- Knowledge of software requirements, design, and coding standards and of RTOS.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience with DO-178 standards is preferred.
- Project management skills and knowledge of avionics systems and networks are preferred.
