Base Salary

$198k - $273k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define the technical roadmap for the web platform, including component systems, rendering architecture, CMS, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling.
  • Own and author the north star architecture for an AI-native web platform.
  • Influence technical leaders across web and marketing engineering on shared architectural decisions.
  • Apply agentic workflows across code generation, testing, review, deployment, and production monitoring.
  • Define evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and feedback loops for reliable, production-grade agentic workflows.
  • Mentor and grow engineers while establishing standards for AI-native platform engineering.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience with a strong record of technical leadership and impact.
  • 3+ years of engineering leadership experience as the technical owner for team-owned software systems.
  • Proven technical leadership of a web platform, including design systems, rendering frameworks, edge delivery, CI/CD, and infrastructure.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Experience making and executing multi-layer architectural decisions on a live production platform.
  • Experience sequencing and executing frontend framework migrations without disrupting production.
  • A clear perspective on AI-native software development and a track record of building toward it.
  • Familiarity with agentic systems or LLM-powered tooling is preferred.
  • Ability to influence technical leaders and align engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Track record of driving technical transformation, stack consolidation, or platform-level standards adoption at scale.
