Responsibilities

Own customer success through the design and delivery of a multi-year software and hardware roadmap.
Design and build robust, MOSA-compliant systems and data models for sensor integration.
Develop frontend and backend systems for orchestration of multi-domain operations.
Deploy capabilities to maritime hardware in constrained environments.
Drive architecture selection and design for robotic systems.
Contribute to the company-wide roadmap for software inputs to autonomous systems.
Lead teams in developing software for on-and-off-platform applications.
Act as a subject matter expert for software engineering in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Drive the design and implementation of development processes for software delivery.
Create test and simulation fixtures for software and hardware validation.
Build high-fidelity Software-in-the-Loop environments for continuous testing.
Mentor Senior Software Engineers and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
Travel to co-locate with end-users and other teams up to 20% of the time.

Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience in a leadership position within a high-performing technology organization.
Extensive professional experience as a Software Engineer in relevant domains.
Strong systems and application programming skills including algorithms and software design.
Experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems.
Ability to work holistically on software-enabled capabilities through their lifecycle.
Capacity to act as the technical owner for an entire software system.
Ability to learn and mentor effectively while building team cohesion.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
