Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for real-time control of advanced tactical radio equipment.
- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing.
- Develop software test procedures, software programs, and related documentation.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams on hardware-software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system design.
- Use modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results.
- Participate in peer reviews and identify, track, and repair defects.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, wireless engineering, information security, mathematics, digital arts and sciences, or a related field at an accredited university.
- Preferred experience or skills include one or more of C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, JEE, HTML5, XML, SQL, Qt, Windows, .NET, Unix, Linux, SOA, RTOS, real-time controls, wireless, software security, robotics, OOA/OOD, Hadoop, Android, and embedded systems.
