Responsibilities
- Support the development of embedded firmware solutions for electronic access control and security products.
- Define and scope firmware requirements, design and document system architecture, and develop, test, and integrate embedded software.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, project meetings, daily standups, and firmware team discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective product solutions.
- Build knowledge of electronic locking systems, access control solutions, basic electronics, and laboratory tools.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Coursework in C programming, with intermediate proficiency preferred.
- Coursework or foundational knowledge in electronics.
- Demonstrated leadership through school, work, extracurricular activities, or project involvement.
- Strong listening, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to customer-impacting projects.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
