Responsibilities
- Evolve Cint’s core platform and systems as part of the Infrastructure team.
- Provide infrastructure and CI/CD expertise to engineering teams and support larger projects.
- Automate software builds, deployments, and cloud infrastructure through infrastructure as code.
- Eliminate repetitive manual operations and improve engineering efficiency.
- Develop monitoring and alerting systems for applications operating in hands-off environments.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
- Communicate the overall infrastructure picture to help development teams achieve better results.
- Design and operate secure, highly available infrastructure and self-service environments for software teams.
Requirements
- Experience in predominantly cloud infrastructure roles, especially AWS, within teams practicing DevOps.
- Confident use of AWS and GCP through command-line interfaces or APIs.
- Solid experience deploying infrastructure as code with Terraform, ideally alongside Ansible and Packer.
- Strong knowledge of building and running Docker images and containers.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, Git, and continuous integration tools such as Harness, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of cloud-native and 12-Factor applications.
- Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools including Graphite, StatsD, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Expertise in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Bash, Ruby, Node, Golang, or Java.
- Knowledge of L4/L7 networking, inter-VPC routing, DNS and resolver hierarchies, and HTTP APIs is advantageous.
- Experience administering Kubernetes, cloud security, Windows servers in AWS, or continuous deployment strategies and tools is advantageous.
