Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tools supporting compositing, rotoscoping, matte painting, and motion graphics workflows.
- Integrate and extend Nuke within proprietary pipeline systems.
- Build automation tools that reduce repetitive tasks and improve artist efficiency.
- Design user interfaces for asset management, compositing templates, and data sharing.
- Contribute to image-processing tools, including advanced deep image data techniques.
- Collaborate with artists, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver practical solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment and support.
- Work within agile teams to improve tools and workflows continuously.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or relevant professional experience.
- Production-ready programming experience in Python and/or C++.
- Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
- Basic knowledge of Nuke.
- Preferred experience developing machine learning models or AI-based solutions.
- Preferred experience with source control, collaborative development, unit and integration testing, and multithreaded software.
- Preferred experience with Qt, Boost, OpenGL, OpenCV, OpenImageIO, OpenColorIO, the Nuke C++ NDK, and Photoshop JavaScript.
- Knowledge of core digital photography and compositing principles is preferred.
