Responsibilities
- Contribute to requirements analysis, software design, coding, testing, quality assurance, and maintenance.
- Design, develop, and test avionics hardware and software for rockets, ground systems, test stands, and lunar landers.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to design solutions supporting vehicle development, testing, and operations.
- Troubleshoot and fix software issues across server-side and client-side systems.
- Participate in projects that may involve embedded systems, DevOps, data analysis, and applied systems analysis.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with at least one semester or quarter remaining after the internship.
- Completed at least one year of full-time post-high-school coursework and obtained sophomore standing by the time of application.
- Available to work full time for 15 weeks without concurrent coursework.
- Must meet Blue Origin’s U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, refugee, or asylum eligibility requirements.
- Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Desired experience includes AWS, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, real-time embedded systems, vehicle or industrial control systems, gaming systems, device drivers, or mobile devices.
- Applicants should include relevant internship, co-curricular, research, programming-language, and coursework experience on their resumes.
