Responsibilities
- Support and maintain production autonomous trucks across global sites.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across Linux-based firmware, software, and embedded systems.
- Work with customers and on-site teams to address operational needs.
- Install and integrate hardware at new European and international sites.
- Build debugging and monitoring tools for technical support and failure analysis.
- Develop autonomous-systems software with international engineering teams.
- Contribute across localization, controls, path planning, safety systems, sensor fusion, hardware integration, camera pipelines, and machine learning.
- Help establish processes, tooling, and culture for Pronto’s first European team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software, hardware, or robotics development experience, with academic research and internships counting toward the requirement.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience debugging embedded systems.
- Comfort with SSH, remote connections, and command-line tools.
- Programming ability in Python or C/C++ for code analysis and bug fixing.
- Fluent English for daily collaboration and technical documentation.
