Responsibilities
- Support and maintain autonomous trucks in production across global sites.
- Diagnose and resolve issues across Linux-based firmware, software, and embedded systems.
- Work with customers and on-site teams to address operational needs.
- Install and integrate hardware at new deployment sites.
- Build debugging and monitoring tools for technical support and failure analysis.
- Develop software for autonomous systems with international engineering teams.
- Contribute across robotics domains including localization, controls, path planning, safety systems, sensor fusion, camera pipelines, machine learning, and hardware integration.
- Help establish processes, tooling, and team culture for Pronto’s first European team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software, hardware, and/or robotics development; academic research and internships count.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience debugging embedded systems.
- Comfort with SSH, remote connections, and command-line tools.
- Programming skills in Python or C/C++ for code analysis and bug fixing.
- Fluent English for daily collaboration with global teams and technical documentation.
