Base Salary
$159k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end automation for core Social and Search journeys using Cypress and Detox.
- Own and evolve automation foundations including test architecture and shared utilities.
- Integrate automation into CI processes for effective execution and reporting.
- Drive stability by tracking flakiness and improving test determinism.
- Establish a test data and environment strategy for various testing needs.
- Build performance coverage for critical user journeys using performance tooling.
- Conduct load and performance testing for key user journeys.
- Define automated evaluation for Advanced Search experiences.
- Partner with observability teams to enhance test visibility.
- Mentor engineers and QA on automation authorship and toolchains.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software test automation and quality engineering.
- Hands-on coding skills in TypeScript/JavaScript and/or Python.
- Strong end-to-end automation experience across web and mobile platforms.
- Experience with monorepos and CI/CD practices.
- Experience testing APIs and distributed systems.
- Performance and reliability mindset with experience in load testing.
- Proven ability to influence across teams and mentor others.
