Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define endpoint security strategy, conduct threat modeling, lead architectural decisions, and drive zero-trust program maturity.
- Develop endpoint security platforms and automation using Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Build CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and GitOps workflows for configuration and policy deployment.
- Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and build detection pipelines for endpoint compromise, data exfiltration, and policy violations.
- Identify and address platform risks, technical debt, and emerging opportunities.
- Mentor early-career engineers through design reviews, code feedback, and technical coaching.
- Partner with Security, Enterprise Technology, and other teams to implement platform solutions at scale.
- Use AI to improve automation, threat detection, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Hands-on information security experience in security engineering, threat detection, incident response, or endpoint protection.
- Intermediate proficiency in Python, Go, or similar systems or software engineering languages, with experience writing production-grade automation and security tools.
- Understanding of EDR, DLP, MDM/MCM, endpoint protection, encryption, attestation, and zero-trust device trust across macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows.
- Experience deploying and operating Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, FleetDM, CrowdStrike Falcon, Okta Verify, or similar enterprise security tools in multi-OS production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or equivalent infrastructure-as-code and GitOps workflows, including CI/CD pipelines for configuration management and policy deployment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with threat detection pipelines, threat modeling, incident response investigations, adversary tactics, or detection best practices is beneficial.
- Scripting experience with Bash or PowerShell is beneficial.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and enterprise SaaS platforms at scale is beneficial.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, Security+, or CCSP, or contributions to open-source security projects, are beneficial.
