Responsibilities
- Support major and patch releases through runtime readiness checks, deployment validation, and release-day operational support.
- Own release-readiness validations, commercial-release reliability, publishing health, and durable fixes for workflow and packaging failures.
- Design and maintain ephemeral, shared, reference, staging, and performance environments for flow and journey testing.
- Manage GitHub Actions workflows, tagging schemes, quality gates, smoke and regression hooks, and pipeline stability.
- Operate containerized Kubernetes infrastructure and manage configuration with Helm, Terraform, and Argo CD or equivalent GitOps tooling.
- Automate DevOps and operational tasks using Python, Go, AI, and AI agents.
- Improve observability through metrics, dashboards, logs, traces, and feedback loops.
- Manage secrets, connector connectivity, feature flags, and payload options for journey testing.
- Document runbooks and environment patterns, collaborate with distributed teams, and participate in on-call and incident response.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in a System Engineer, DevOps, or Platform role running production workloads on public cloud.
- Strong Linux skills and hands-on Docker or containerd configuration, optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting experience.
- High-level Kubernetes experience, preferably with AKS, including deployment, operation, and debugging.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent observability tools and a solid understanding of metrics and SLIs.
- Experience with Terraform, Helm, Argo CD, configuration management, and GitOps practices.
- Python and/or Go automation or scripting experience.
- Hands-on CI/CD experience, preferably with GitHub Actions; Jenkins or similar experience is also acceptable.
- Experience creating and operating test and ephemeral environments, managing secrets, and integrating third-party connectors and APIs.
- Proven commercial or product release support experience, including packaging, publishing, and runtime validation.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure security and IAM practices.
- Hands-on experience automating operational work with AI and working with AI agents.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with on-call or production incident handling.
- Excellent communication skills in distributed India-Europe teams.
- Preferred qualifications include AI infrastructure experience, Azure AI or Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Langfuse, LiteLLM, vector databases, MCP, RAG, agent systems, digital banking, mobile CI, and Azure-heavy enterprise environments.
