Responsibilities
- Build a machine-learning platform supporting feature engineering, model training, versioning, deployment, online serving and evaluation, and prediction-quality monitoring.
- Analyze data and generate reusable features for multiple use cases and models.
- Train and evaluate models for batch and real-time prediction using decision trees, logistic regression, neural networks, Bayesian analysis, and other statistical and machine-learning techniques.
- Perform low-level systems debugging, performance measurement, and optimization on large production clusters.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver solutions.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, statistics, or a related field.
- Experience applying machine learning to real-world use cases is required, with ad technology experience considered a bonus.
- Strong coding and software development experience using Spark, Python, and Java.
- Familiarity with real-time model evaluation under low-latency constraints.
- Familiarity with distributed ML frameworks such as Spark-MLlib and TensorFlow.
- Ability to work with large-scale computing frameworks, data analysis systems, and modeling environments such as Spark, Hive, Aerospike, and ScyllaDB.
- Ad technology background is a plus.
- AI growth mindset and AI literacy.
