Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex features and platform capabilities from concept through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Architect and develop scalable, high-performance cloud-native applications using backend and full-stack technologies.
- Drive technical strategy for scalability, reliability, security, maintainability, and platform-wide engineering standards.
- Promote test automation, observability, CI/CD maturity, and shift-left quality practices across teams.
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX, and other stakeholders on technical roadmaps and business outcomes.
- Mentor and coach Software Engineers on code quality, design patterns, and career growth.
- Troubleshoot high-severity production incidents, lead post-mortems, and implement preventive measures.
- Contribute to security, compliance, data governance, operational excellence, agile ceremonies, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience building enterprise-grade SaaS or PaaS solutions.
- Deep backend development expertise with C#/.NET Core and modern API design.
- Experience designing and optimizing relational databases, preferably SQL Server, and working with NoSQL stores or search engines.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including PaaS/IaaS services, networking, and identity management.
- Extensive experience with Entity Framework Core.
- Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code supported by unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.
- Proficiency with Git-based workflows, Docker, Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a globally distributed agile environment.
- Preferred: experience leading technical initiatives or acting as a de facto technical lead.
- Preferred: knowledge of accessibility, internationalization, performance optimization, Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and DevOps/SRE practices.
- Preferred: familiarity with Angular or React sufficient for collaboration with frontend engineers.
