Base Salary
$114k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide proactive and reactive engineering support for global partners and integrations, including independently managing complex outages.
- Troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems and partner integrations while maintaining code quality and operational standards.
- Use AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, automate repetitive tasks, and scale support impact.
- Develop performance monitoring systems for partner integrations, use metrics to identify issues, and drive improvements.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support through a rotation that includes weekends.
- Collaborate with Platform and Infrastructure teams to investigate issues, agree on fixes, and improve products and deployments.
- Create technical documentation, specifications, guides, and presentations for technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Drive end-to-end initiatives, manage stakeholder expectations, communicate AI concepts, and mentor other engineers.
- Analyze trends and opportunities, recommend tactical improvements, and share operational knowledge across the team.
Requirements
- Currently hold or be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with completion required before joining Meta.
- Have at least 3 years of experience as a software engineer or site reliability engineer.
- Have proven experience as a support engineer, service engineer, or similar role.
- Have experience developing, deploying, and operating software in public cloud infrastructures such as Azure, GCP, or AWS.
- Have proven experience developing APIs on cloud-based infrastructures.
- Be proficient in full-stack development, including the full web stack, SOAP, and REST API technologies and architectures.
- Have experience communicating with technical and business audiences and creating technical documentation.
- Have experience with IT infrastructure, multilayer network protocols, and data exchange formats and protocols.
- Have experience assessing, analyzing, and resolving operational issues using data.
- Have experience managing concurrent projects and driving initiatives in cross-functional environments.
- Preferred qualifications include responsible and ethical AI practices, prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, large language models, AI agents, model selection and deployment, workflow optimization, and distributed international engineering teams.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Kubernetes, Kubeflow, and Docker containers.

- Annual base salary of $114,000 to $167,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
- 24/7 on-call coverage is provided through a rotation schedule, including weekends.
