Base Salary

$143k - $286k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of scalable infrastructure, reusable tooling, and cloud-native platform architectures aligned with strategic roadmaps.
  • Design, test, deploy, and maintain distributed systems optimized for real-time data processing and AI/ML integration.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, architectural guidance, and engineering best-practice direction across multiple teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable success metrics.
  • Improve system availability, fault tolerance, performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Publish technical insights and contribute to engineering knowledge-sharing communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus five years of software engineering or related experience, or seven years of such experience.
  • Extensive experience leading platform engineering efforts and delivering scalable, reliable cloud-native architectures.
  • Expertise designing and implementing distributed systems for real-time data processing and AI/ML integration.
  • Proficiency with software development lifecycle management, including CI/CD pipelines, testing, and observability.
  • Experience with model-driven design and AI agents for intelligent software solutions.
  • Ability to mentor engineers and provide strategic technical guidance across teams.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree in a relevant field plus three years of related experience.
  • Preferred accessibility knowledge includes WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
