Base Salary
$195k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI agents and tools for clinical decision-making.
- Implement full-stack architecture for AI-agentic systems, including API design.
- Build scalable backend services and integrations using Python, Java Spring Boot, and SQL.
- Collaborate with teams to translate clinical needs into technical specifications.
- Champion best practices for developing reliable and secure AI applications.
- Mentor and coach engineers to enhance team capabilities.
- Monitor and optimize AI system performance in production.
- Travel to headquarters for planning workshops and team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend services.
- Experience in developing AI applications using Large Language Models.
- Strong knowledge of prompt engineering and vector databases.
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python with microservices development experience.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases and query optimization.
- Ability to collaborate with product, design, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and project management abilities.
