Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery by mapping customer workflows, systems of record, failure modes, and opportunities for measurable agentic automation.
- Build and deliver proofs of concept and proofs of value using live customer data and systems.
- Design agent architectures covering orchestration, state management, tool and skill decomposition, guardrails, and escalation paths.
- Shape statements of work, solution designs, delivery plans, and technical effort estimates.
- Implement production agents on the DevRev platform, including instructions, deterministic workflows, skills, and enterprise integrations.
- Design evaluation harnesses, debug agent failures, and improve systems toward reliable production adoption.
- Drive hands-on integration work involving APIs, webhooks, authentication flows, and data mapping.
- Instrument and report adoption, containment, accuracy, and cost outcomes.
- Create reusable reference architectures, playbooks, sandbox environments, and internal tooling.
- Enable partner engineers and integrators through workshops and bootcamps, and provide structured field feedback to Product.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in customer-facing technical roles such as forward-deployed engineering, field engineering, solution delivery, or technical specialization within B2B SaaS or enterprise software.
- Hands-on production experience building LLM-based systems involving agent orchestration, prompt and context engineering, RAG, tool or function calling, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript and strong engineering fundamentals, including API integrations, webhooks, and SQL.
- Experience with stakeholder workshops, proofs of concept, technical discovery, solution scoping, and effort estimation.
- Ability to communicate architecture to engineering audiences and business impact to executive stakeholders.
- Experience designing deterministic workflows or state machines for AI agents is a strong plus.
- Production experience in complex enterprise domains such as airlines, BFSI, telecom, or manufacturing is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM or CX platforms including Salesforce, Zendesk, or ServiceNow; cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP; and modern DevOps tooling is preferred.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows using Cursor, Copilot, or Claude Code is preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
