Base Salary
$144k - $205k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on customer Proof of Value pilots, architectural demonstrations, and field validations for enterprise and distributed edge networking solutions.
- Design, deploy, and maintain physical and virtual network labs that simulate complex branch, edge, retail, and enterprise topologies.
- Troubleshoot L2/L3 networking escalations, segmentation challenges, packet-level anomalies, routing issues, latency, jitter, MTU problems, and NAT/firewall traversal.
- Create deployment runbooks, reference architectures, white papers, competitive test plans, solution briefs, and other technical collateral.
- Deliver technical training, workshops, webinars, and enablement programs for systems engineers, professional services teams, and channel partners.
- Use automation and AI-enabled workflows where appropriate to improve lab deployment, test execution, and networking operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in technical marketing, solutions architecture, or advanced systems engineering.
- Deep expertise in enterprise routing, switching, TCP/IP, L2/L3 network segmentation, and tunneling protocols including WireGuard, IPsec, and VxLAN.
- Demonstrated success leading customer Proof of Value pilots and executive architectural evaluations in complex enterprise networking environments.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining multi-vendor physical and virtual network labs using bare-metal appliances, hypervisors, and network emulation platforms.
- Advanced packet analysis and troubleshooting experience with Wireshark, tcpdump, and traffic-generation tools.
- Experience authoring production-grade technical collateral and delivering enablement sessions to sales engineering, professional services, and partner teams.
- Preferred experience with Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, public cloud networking, Docker, Kubernetes, or relevant networking and security certifications.
- Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and experience integrating new technologies into daily workflows.
