Responsibilities
- Own target architectures and roadmaps for mobile platforms, services, and integrations.
- Define and govern architecture principles, patterns, APIs, eventing, data, security, and engineering guardrails across squads.
- Lead solution design and architecture reviews while ensuring availability, performance, security, observability, and cost-efficiency requirements.
- Coordinate with Enterprise Architecture, CISO, Platform, Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams.
- Manage cross-squad dependencies and shared components and drive incremental modernization and technical-debt reduction.
- Promote domain-driven design, microservices, API-first, event-driven, DevSecOps, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and SRE practices.
- Provide technical leadership and coaching to engineers and chapter architects and drive adoption of architecture standards.
- Use telemetry, defect patterns, data, and AI-assisted insights to inform architecture decisions and automation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Solution, Domain, or Tribe Architect leading large-scale mobile or digital platforms in an Agile-at-scale environment.
- Deep knowledge of mobile architectures, including iOS and Android, API-first and event-driven design, integration patterns, and domain-driven design.
- Expertise with cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, or GCP; containers and Kubernetes; and infrastructure as code with Terraform.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevSecOps, security and privacy by design, OAuth2/OIDC, OWASP, data protection, observability, and performance engineering.
- Proven ability to lead stakeholders and influence Product, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams, with excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to produce pragmatic reference architectures, standards, and roadmaps and drive their adoption.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and GenAI platforms is advantageous.
