Base Salary
$134k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, release, document, and modernize the in-house automated cluster provisioning tool.
- Gather internal requirements and create a roadmap for the provisioning platform.
- Build internal tools, services, APIs, and CLIs in Go to automate deployment and operations.
- Deploy, maintain, upgrade, and lifecycle-manage on-prem Kubernetes clusters.
- Operate Kubernetes storage, networking, ingress, internal registries, multi-tenancy, backups, disaster recovery, and etcd maintenance.
- Manage bare-metal and virtualized infrastructure across on-premises data centers and AWS and Azure.
- Use infrastructure as code and implement metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting.
- Embed secrets management, IAM, policy-as-code, supply chain security, patching, and compliance into the platform.
- Participate in planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and daily pair programming within an Extreme Programming team.
