Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable and reliable capabilities for the Packaging and ALM platform.
- Own features end to end from requirements analysis and design through implementation and production delivery.
- Design and implement backend services, APIs, integrations, and workflows.
- Collaborate with Product Management and partner engineering teams on requirements and dependencies.
- Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, blockers, production issues, and integration issues.
- Contribute to platform APIs, service contracts, and reusable frameworks.
- Share technical knowledge through design discussions, documentation, and code reviews.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience developing scalable backend services and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of Node.js, C#, Java, or Go.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and service integrations.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Packaging, ALM, deployment, platform engineering, CI/CD, release orchestration, environment promotion, dependency management, versioning, artifact lifecycle management, event-driven architectures, messaging systems, GraphQL APIs, observability, operational excellence, scalability, availability, resiliency, debugging, and globally distributed engineering teams.
