Base Salary
$185k - $385k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain distributed compute, data orchestration, distributed storage, and streaming infrastructure
- Scale the data platform reliably by several orders of magnitude
- Build excellent data tooling and systems that improve engineering productivity
- Partner with product engineers, trust and safety, and other teams to build technical foundations for new capabilities
- Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents
Requirements
- At least 4 years of data infrastructure engineering experience, or at least 4 years of infrastructure engineering experience with a strong interest in data
- Experience building and operating scalable, reliable, and secure systems
- Comfort working with infrastructure tooling such as Terraform and Kubernetes
- SRE skills and experience with distributed systems, streaming infrastructure, OLAP systems, and distributed key-value stores
- Strong learning ability and willingness to share knowledge clearly and concisely
