Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic platforms and backend workflows for code analysis, code generation, automated review, and autonomous task execution.
- Gather functional requirements, develop technical specifications, and contribute to project and test planning.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, lead design discussions, and drive solutions to challenging programming and design problems.
- Spend approximately 50–70% of the role on hands-on coding.
- Create technical documentation explaining architectural and design options and educate development teams.
- Collaborate with product management, QA/QE, product lines, and business units.
- Drive improvements in availability, usability, reusability, performance, maintainability, and cost.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing and developing web, software, or mobile applications.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including leading design discussions, driving projects end to end, and serving as a go-to technical resource.
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with AI frameworks, agentic workflows, and LLM integration, such as OpenAI API, Anthropic API, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
- Strong experience with an object-oriented language such as Java/J2EE, C#, Python, Go, or a similar language.
- Strong experience with the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Strong grounding in software design and architecture, including distributed systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
