Responsibilities
- Design, document, test, debug, and maintain software systems and applications.
- Participate in requirements reviews, software design meetings, and the full development lifecycle.
- Analyze user needs, create technical specifications, and consult with end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs.
- Serve as a technical expert on development projects and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
- Analyze program code to identify and correct errors.
- Maintain documentation covering software functionality, project planning, evaluations, budgeting, feedback, and improvements.
- Provide estimates, budgets, project-flow updates, client updates, and risk-mitigation planning.
- Manage user requirements and provide timely project updates.
- Provide feedback for team-member performance appraisals and act as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
Requirements
- College or university degree required.
- Relevant education and expertise in a professional, sales, or technical area.
- Knowledge and experience in the applicable field, including conceptual understanding of relevant theories, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to solve complex problems, exercise independent judgment, and work with minimal guidance.
- Ability to communicate difficult or sensitive information clearly and build consensus within a team.
