Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and oversee software solutions for highly complex technical projects.
- Create software specifications and lead technology roadmap planning.
- Advise on software development lifecycle practices, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Develop next-generation technologies in collaboration with other engineering disciplines.
- Provide strategic mentorship to senior engineers and management.
- Analyze competitor products, development strategies, and patents to support innovation and intellectual property protection.
- Coordinate efforts across teams and advise on projects affecting long-term technical and business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- 10+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or 7+ years with an advanced degree.
- Expertise in software architecture, system design, and scalable enterprise software solutions.
- Knowledge of multiple programming languages, advanced software development methodologies, and adopting GenAI in the software development lifecycle.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex, high-impact projects.
- Strong strategic thinking, innovation, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with intellectual property protection, competitor analysis, and industry trends.
