Base Salary
$110k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Strategize data migration plans for large enterprise customers.
- Own end-to-end data migration processes from legacy systems through extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading.
- Engage customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve data discrepancies, and communicate progress and risks.
- Become the subject matter expert on customer data and track implementation milestones.
- Build bi-directional integrations between internal and external platforms.
- Write maintainable SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Assess data quality and create tailored migration solutions for complex client data models.
- Set customer expectations and timelines, validate data, and migrate complex datasets into Medallion.
- Identify implementation blockers and coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve them.
- Build Python automation scripts for ingestion, transformation, reconciliation, and migration validation.
- Partner with the EPD team to productize repetitive implementation processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data modeling and/or migration, ideally with complex datasets.
- 4+ years of experience working directly with enterprise clients.
- Proven ability to write complex SQL queries and Python scripts from scratch.
- Additional coding languages are a plus.
- Ability to build bi-directional integrations between external and internal platforms.
- Ability to design, build, and optimize end-to-end queries and data pipelines, including ETL processes.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle in migration or data pipeline contexts.
- Experience at a rapidly growing SaaS company, ideally a B2B startup.
- Ability to maintain customer enthusiasm throughout onboarding engagements.
- Experience coordinating multiple complex data projects simultaneously.
Benefits
- Base compensation of $110,000-$140,000, plus equity and benefits.
- Remote position.
- Pay is determined using factors including market data, geographic location, skills, qualifications, experience, and level.
