Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and enhance custom software solutions and Pega applications.
- Design application architecture, process flows, SLAs, skill-based routing, class structures, data models, indexing, reporting, security, ruleset hierarchies, and reusable components.
- Integrate applications with databases and external systems using SOAP, REST services, JMS, and MQ.
- Lead successful release delivery, manage reporting teams, and oversee deployment activities and project-level metrics.
- Perform code reviews, follow code-quality measures, comply with Guardrails, and work with AES.
- Manage the project team and handle client calls independently.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience is stated, with an overall minimum of six years of hands-on experience required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Pega Platform experience is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with HTML, JavaScript, PL/SQL, Python, application development, and system integration is required or expected.
- Experience with Pega frameworks including CS, CSHC, CWS, and CMF is required.
- Experience with database and external-system integration through SOAP, REST services, JMS, and MQ is required.
- Knowledge of SDLC processes, Pega security, ruleset hierarchy, environments, deployment, and project metrics is required.
- Mandatory CSA and CSSA certifications are required; CUIS, CCSA, and CPMC are optional.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, agentic AI systems, and tools from Anthropic, AWS, or Google is desired.
- React.js and Node.js are good-to-have skills.
- Experience leading delivery, managing teams, handling client communication, and working under pressure is expected.
