Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and deliver custom software solutions using the Pega Platform.
- Design application architectures, process flows, SLAs, skill-based routing, class structures, data models, indexing, reporting, and application security.
- Build reusable components using Pega ruleset hierarchy and apply code quality measures, code reviews, guardrail compliance, and AES practices.
- Integrate applications with databases and external systems through SOAP/REST services, JMS, and MQ.
- Manage environments, deployment activities, SDLC deliverables, and project-level metrics.
- Lead successful release delivery and efficiently manage the reporting team.
- Handle client calls independently and support application development and system integration work.
- Contribute to Python development, prompt engineering, and knowledge of agentic AI systems and tool use.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience is required; the posting also states an overall minimum of six years of hands-on experience.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Mandatory CSA and CSSA certifications are required; CUIS, CCSA, and CPMC are optional.
- Hands-on experience with the Pega Platform, Pega CS, CSHC, CWS, and CMF frameworks.
- Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience with database and external-system integration using SOAP/REST services, JMS, and MQ.
- Experience with application development, system integration, security design, deployment activities, code reviews, guardrail compliance, and AES.
- Experience with Python development and prompt engineering, plus knowledge of agentic AI systems and tools such as Anthropic, AWS, or Google.
- Ability to manage a team, communicate effectively with clients, and work under pressure.
- React.js and Node.js experience is good to have; certification in Anthropic, AWS, or Google is also preferred.
