Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers and project teams to capture business and technical requirements and produce infrastructure designs.
- Analyze and evaluate existing application infrastructure and platform capabilities.
- Serve as an AWS security and identity access management subject matter expert.
- Provide architectural and engineering guidance for AWS Lambda, Glue, RDS, Step Functions, and other AWS services.
- Define and develop cloud reference architectures and participate in application roadmap planning.
- Guide infrastructure deployments, capacity and workload modeling, availability analysis, and recommendations for improved reliability and performance.
- Promote automation and efficiency improvements and contribute to delivery metrics, policies, procedures, and standards.
- Use Jira to track work and provide project updates while executing multiple efforts in parallel.
- Support infrastructure-as-code deployments using Terraform.
- Advise on AWS networking, firewalls, routing, port translation, quality of service, Active Directory connectivity, SSL certificates, and PKI management.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of cloud architecture design experience.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience as an AWS subject matter expert deploying applications.
- At least 7 years of experience developing architecture diagrams and documentation.
- At least 7 years of experience developing and documenting build specifications using Excel.
- At least 7 years of experience designing and developing with AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, ELB, RDS, Kafka, SQS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Redis, Ignite, Redshift, ElastiCache, NoSQL systems, and API Gateway.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code deployments using Terraform.
- Experience using AWS AMIs with Amazon Linux and Windows Server.
- Experience connecting on-premises Active Directory with AWS services.
- Experience with AWS network protocols and diagnosing connection-related issues.
- Experience managing firewall rules, port translation, quality of service, and network protocol routing.
- Knowledge of network security best practices, SSL certificate requests and installation, and PKI management.
- Technical project management experience is a plus.
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification is a plus.
