Responsibilities
- Investigate translation quality and workflow issues and help test improvements.
- Evaluate Machine Translation quality using automated metrics and multilingual test data.
- Support data analysis, testing, and automation for translation quality.
- Explore NLP, Generative AI, and Large Language Model applications in localization.
- Develop Python services, automation scripts, and API integrations.
- Contribute to cloud-native localization workflows and automation infrastructure on AWS.
- Work with event-driven technologies and containers.
- Support automated testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production readiness.
- Help improve the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of localization workflows.
- Collaborate with localization, language, and engineering teams and document findings.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with graduation planned for 2027 or 2028.
- Programming or scripting knowledge, preferably Python.
- Basic understanding of software development, APIs, data structures, and debugging.
- Some exposure to Machine Learning, NLP, cloud computing, or distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Git or another source-control system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an interest in localization, AI, and cloud technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include Python, data processing, automated testing, Machine Learning, NLP, Machine Translation, Generative AI, LLMs, AWS, Docker, serverless or event-driven architectures, REST APIs, webhooks, GitHub APIs, CI/CD, or multilingual data.
