Base Salary
$135k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end analyses using SQL or Python, including data wrangling, statistical modeling, hypothesis development, and presentation of business ideas.
- Develop and productionize machine learning models for offline batch products and online real-time services.
- Work with large textual and visual datasets and fine-tune transformer models to derive embeddings for multiple input types.
- Build, productionize, and automate model pipelines within Python services.
- Advocate for best practices in machine learning development and operations.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and promote technical excellence.
Requirements
- Experience developing and productionizing machine learning models, particularly neural networks, computer vision, and LLMs with supporting data pipelines.
- Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, XGBoost, and scikit-learn.
- Strong programming skills in Python or equivalent experience with Java or C++.
- Solid understanding of engineering and infrastructure best practices.
- Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Bedrock, prompt engineering, and evaluation is highly valued.
