Responsibilities

  • Understand problems and develop engineering solutions for next-generation products.
  • Develop AI-based object detection, virtual reality, augmented reality, image processing, and autonomy applications.
  • Use C++, Python, and Linux to build software.
  • Use OpenCV APIs for image processing and augmented reality application development.
  • Use ROS2 to build and deploy autonomy capabilities on robotic platforms.
  • Create deep learning models with TensorFlow and PyTorch using transfer learning.
  • Train and deploy deep learning and machine learning models on NVIDIA Jetson or similar embedded boards.
  • Design, model, and test systems integrated with machines.
  • Work hands-on with aerial work platforms, telehandlers, and scissors.
  • Apply product development, lifecycle management, reliability, and design-for-manufacturing requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be a student working toward a bachelor’s degree in robotics, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
  • Must be fluent in C++, Python, and Linux or Ubuntu.
  • Must have exposure to training and deployment workflows, including the workflow listed as “Rodolfo” in the posting.
  • Graduation must be in December 2025 or 2026.
  • Preferred qualifications include exposure to TensorFlow and PyTorch neural network development frameworks.
  • Preferred qualifications include prior internship or work-related experience, extracurricular activities, strong oral and written communication, independent work capability, adaptability, and interest in multiple engineering disciplines.
