Base Salary
$141k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-powered features across backend inference services and frontend interfaces in ClickHouse Cloud
- Create robust, scalable APIs connecting ClickHouse database capabilities with AI/ML inference systems and internal or external AI services
- Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces that make complex AI functionality accessible
- Implement and maintain integrations with the broader AI/ML ecosystem and relevant standards
- Integrate models into production systems with monitoring, versioning, observability, and evaluation
- Drive features end to end from concept to production
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in production environments
- Strong frontend development skills with TypeScript, JavaScript, and React
- Backend development experience with TypeScript or Python, focused on API design and service architecture
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies
- Ability to own and drive features from concept through production with minimal supervision
- Ability to collaborate and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with data-oriented interfaces and visualizations is preferred
- Experience integrating and deploying AI/ML models in production, including inference APIs and vector databases, is preferred
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly AI/ML deployment services, is preferred
- Understanding of database systems and data processing pipelines is preferred; ClickHouse experience is a significant plus
