Base Salary
$200k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work AI-first using tools like Cursor and Claude Code for component development.
- Build and maintain the Retell design system, including component library and design tokens.
- Prototype in React and TypeScript, testing with real users before full implementation.
- Translate Figma designs into production-grade components with pixel-level accuracy.
- Ensure design-code parity across Retell's core product features.
- Review frontend PRs for visual quality and functionality.
- Document and share AI-native prompts and workflows with the team.
- Collaborate with the product designer to evolve the visual language.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Figma, including component library and auto layout.
- Solid frontend development skills in HTML, CSS, React, and TypeScript.
- Experience in building and maintaining UI component libraries.
- Knowledge of design systems, including tokens and visual consistency.
- Active use of AI coding tools with clear opinions on their effectiveness.
- Proven experience shipping real components to production.
