Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered POS systems with transaction analytics, inventory intelligence, customer behavior insights, persistent session memory, and multi-step automation workflows.
- Develop next-generation AI-enabled POS platforms that improve checkout experiences, operational efficiency, and business decision-making.
- Integrate generative AI, LLMs, and multimodal models into production platforms while optimizing performance, user experience, and safety.
- Build and maintain agent evaluation frameworks covering testing, safety assessment, and performance monitoring.
- Develop workflow orchestration, context management, recommendation engines, and real-time decision-making pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, UX, operations, and business stakeholders to translate retail workflows into scalable production systems.
- Mentor engineers on system design, AI integration, secure payment handling, and resilient cloud-native deployments.
- Design secure systems handling payment data, PCI compliance requirements, fraud prevention, and user-generated transaction inputs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a Senior Engineer role leading significant technical initiatives in high-availability transactional systems.
- Hands-on experience building intelligent automation-driven systems with workflow orchestration, context management, recommendation engines, and real-time decision-making pipelines.
- Strong experience integrating LLMs and AI services into production systems, including prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and backend orchestration.
- Expertise in at least two of Pascal/Delphi, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience deploying and managing systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure with containerization and observability tooling.
- Experience developing scalable web applications and APIs for high-availability transactional workloads.
- Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, recommendation systems, and data pipelines for customer behavior analytics and product intelligence.
- Experience designing secure payment-data systems, addressing PCI compliance, fraud prevention, and complex user-generated transaction inputs.
- Ability to drive technical initiatives from prototypes through high-scale production and communicate effectively across stakeholders.
- Comfort working in Windows and Linux environments, including PowerShell, bash, database administration, bare-metal virtualization technologies, and public cloud environments.
