Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, support, and operate Skywise applications based on Palantir Foundry.
- Build scalable and reliable solutions involving data engineering, data analysis, visualization, and complex data workflows.
- Optimize PySpark or Java-based decoding pipelines to convert raw, compressed, or binary data into structured datasets.
- Design comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and end-to-end test cases for data workflows and user interfaces.
- Partner with product owners and project leaders to prioritize and maintain the sprint backlog.
- Track and resolve defects using Agility or ServiceNow and support peer reviews and application quality.
- Work with business and external stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Share knowledge, capture learnings, and contribute to application knowledge management.
- Support operational efficiency, new business opportunities, and adoption of AI technologies in development workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, data science, or software application development.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry.
- Strong proficiency in PySpark, Python, SQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry tools including Code Repository, Pipeline Builder, Access Management, Ontology, Object Explorer, Workshop, Templates, Marketplace, Quiver, and Slate.
- Experience optimizing PySpark or Java-based decoding pipelines and processing aircraft sensor or time-series data is preferred.
- Knowledge of Foundry AIP tools, AI-assisted development workflows, data governance, security, and relational database systems.
- Experience with Git, Confluence, Agility, or Jira; AWS knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across regions is required; aviation or manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, customer-focus, independent-work, and teamwork skills, with willingness to work in the CET timezone when needed.
