Responsibilities
- Elevate the core ML platform's performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Design and implement significant scalability improvements to the ML platform.
- Deliver projects that enhance model configuration and integration testing.
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers and data scientists on large-scale software projects.
- Support the development of the flagship Prediction Engine for grocery replenishment decisions.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or a relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience collaborating with machine learning engineers and data scientists.
- Genuine curiosity about ML modeling and its applications.
- Deep understanding of how scientists work and building tools for production-grade software.
- Technical leadership experience and ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Expertise in library design, API design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong familiarity with the Python ecosystem, including NumPy, Pandas, Torch, and PySpark.
- Proven ability to architect high-throughput distributed inference systems.
- Experience in engineering robust data architectures with a focus on schema evolution.
