Responsibilities
- Design and deliver robust, scalable full stack software components for the LoanIQ lending platform.
- Apply architecture, design patterns, test-driven development, behavior-driven development, and reliable deployment practices.
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications using relevant frameworks, databases, cloud platforms, and messaging technologies.
- Manage release deployments in non-production environments and create build, deployment, and operating documentation.
- Perform application maintenance, technical change requests, defect fixes, code-quality analysis, and Level 3 production support.
- Collaborate with Functional Analysts, Quality Assurance teams, stakeholders, and globally distributed development teams.
- Conduct root-cause and problem analysis, support solution brainstorming, and contribute to project documentation.
- Lead the development team, architect solutions, and apply responsible use of AI tools to improve workflows and productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 13+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of the LoanIQ product and solid software engineering skills.
- Hands-on full stack Java development experience, including solution design, architecture, source code management, continuous build, and continuous integration.
- Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, React or Angular, J2EE, Hibernate, JUnit, databases, cloud platforms, messaging, and development tools.
- Experience with Unix or Windows operating systems, Oracle, Git, Eclipse or IntelliJ, Maven, Ant, Linux/Unix shell scripting, and JMS/MQ.
- Knowledge of design patterns, messaging middleware, test automation, and unit testing is advantageous.
- Ability to architect solutions, lead teams, write high-quality code, solve business or production problems, and communicate effectively in multicultural environments.
- Corporate banking experience is advantageous.
- Ability to leverage AI tools productively while applying critical judgment for responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
