Responsibilities
- Embed with product and engineering teams to understand workflows and build custom automations, integrations, and AI-augmented tools.
- Build agentic and LLM-powered workflows for log analysis, repetitive processes, content generation, and data wrangling.
- Generalize successful one-off solutions into reusable internal tools, templates, and supported platforms.
- Act as a hands-on partner to teams adopting new tooling and help them become productive with it.
- Design, build, and operate internal tools, beta platforms, authoring experiences, automation surfaces, and integrations.
- Integrate with AI vendors and internal systems to create workflows spanning multiple tools.
- Build data pipelines that aggregate and normalize tool and AI spend and usage across vendors and attribute it by team.
- Develop measurement layers that connect adoption with outcomes and provide spend, efficiency, and ROI signals.
- Build telemetry and observability into shipped tools, maintain reliability, and define reusable patterns and reference implementations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a software engineering role with a record of shipping and independently owning workstreams.
- Proficiency in one or more of TypeScript, Python, Java, Go, or a similar language, with willingness to work across the stack.
- Experience building shared frameworks, internal tools, or platforms used by other engineers or teams.
- Experience integrating systems through APIs and building data pipelines or integrations across multiple sources.
- Systems thinking focused on creating reusable solutions rather than solving only one team's problem.
- A measurement mindset, including skepticism about correlation versus causation and an instinct to instrument products.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for forward-deployed work and team embedded partnerships.
