Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and operate high-performance FSx for NetApp ONTAP and FSx for Lustre storage platforms for EDA and HPC workloads.
- Manage NFS exports, ONTAP SVMs, FabricPool tiering, snapshot policies, SnapMirror replication, and quotas across multi-tenant environments.
- Deploy storage infrastructure with AWS CDK and architect cross-VPC and multi-account solutions using Transit Gateway and Route 53 private hosted zones.
- Enable EFA for high-throughput Lustre access and manage data synchronization through DataSync and S3 integrations.
- Build and operate a self-service Storage as a Service platform with provisioning, SLOs, cost attribution, quota enforcement, and lifecycle automation.
- Develop monitoring and observability for storage health, utilization, capacity, performance, and cost trends, and establish incident response processes.
- Profile EDA I/O patterns, tune file system configurations, evaluate new AWS storage capabilities, and support storage scaling and migrations.
- Partner with silicon design and verification teams, engage AWS service teams on feature requests, review code, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- 5+ years of hands-on systems engineering and administrative experience with networking, storage systems, and operating systems.
- Knowledge of iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, SMB, Software Defined Storage, and Content Delivery Networks.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with NAS/NFS storage systems such as NetApp ONTAP or equivalent enterprise storage platforms.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud services, including FSx, S3, EBS, and EFS.
- Preferred experience with FSx for NetApp ONTAP Gen1/Gen2, SVM management, FabricPool, SnapMirror, snapshot policies, FSx for Lustre, EFA-enabled HPC configurations, self-service storage platforms, AWS CDK, cross-VPC and multi-account architectures, and storage observability.
