Responsibilities
- Support and operate Palantir software through monitoring, alerting, configuration management, and upgrades.
- Deploy new Palantir products at customer deployments and perform migrations to updated infrastructure types.
- Debug, improve, and optimize services and infrastructure for long-term reliability and scalability.
- Automate workflows, processes, and runbooks to reduce manual operations.
- Provide technical troubleshooting for production issues and participate in a support on-call schedule.
- Develop infrastructure solutions in Palantir’s Foundry and Apollo platforms.
- Work with forward deployed and product teams on systems design and production issue diagnosis, resolution, and prevention.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Demonstrated coding proficiency in Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex systems independently using observability tools and service logs.
- Comfort working with large-scale production systems and technologies such as load balancing, monitoring, distributed systems, or configuration management.
- Ability to identify and automate manual tasks with autonomy in a changing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
- Active UK Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain UK Security clearance.
