Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical design specifications for product and architectural initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance activities and seek platform convergence.
- Plan engineering initiatives and feature delivery while balancing customer outcomes and organizational health.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist, mentor, and provide technical direction to development staff.
- Lead design sessions, technical conversations, code reviews, and architecture-related decision-making.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively with executive leadership, peers, and development teams.
- Drive cloud, DevOps, AI modernization, reliability, scaling, and engineering process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in .NET full-stack development.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Significant experience designing and implementing or enhancing systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Significant experience in system engineering involving analytical systems design and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience leading cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Ability to translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
- Preferred experience with application monitoring tools, performance assessments, security architecture, Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth, AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments.
