Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and backend services.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using Java, Playwright, and related testing technologies.
- Create automated test cases and test scenarios based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Analyze requirements and system behavior to identify edge cases and quality risks.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing throughout the software release lifecycle.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support reliable quality gates.
- Investigate test failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
- Review automation code and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and release readiness.
- Drive improvements in automation coverage and test reliability.
- Mentor junior automation engineers and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation or software quality engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Java with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI test automation.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated test cases from requirements.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Experience working with version control systems like Git.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
