Responsibilities
- Own high- and low-level design for line-of-business products end to end.
- Design multiple features in parallel while collaborating with several scrum teams and engineering functions.
- Prepare technical designs and architecture that support quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Drive continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies where appropriate.
- Help envision next-generation plans and support longer-term strategic objectives.
- Work with global teams and the line of business to define product roadmaps and strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- 8–11 years of software development experience across backend and frontend technologies.
- Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSON, and enterprise application development.
- Experience building high-performance, highly available, scalable, hosted, multi-tenant SaaS products that integrate with broad enterprise ecosystems.
- Experience with MySQL or similar databases, Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI development, and reusable production-ready components.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and cloud-native development.
- Knowledge of enterprise software architecture, design patterns, scalability, maintainability, and technical design practices.
- Experience with test automation at unit and system levels, such as JUnit and Karma.
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery experience is advantageous.
- Exposure to AI-powered engineering solutions, LLMs, agents, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in global and complex matrix organizations and influence others in sensitive or complex situations.
