Responsibilities
- Keep mission-critical applications reliable across multiple environments.
- Triage production incidents and debug application, database, core system, and performance issues through root cause and permanent remediation.
- Partner with development, QA, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve large-scale production disruptions.
- Eliminate operational toil through automation and manage platform health using observability and GenAI technologies.
- Support incident management and standard change and configuration management processes.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of combined experience in Application Production Support, DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Solid understanding of Linux/Unix internals, including filesystems, process management, networking, permissions, and systemd, plus core system engineering concepts.
- Programming and debugging exposure in Java and Python and familiarity with Maven and Gradle.
- Strong debugging and querying skills with PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, and MySQL.
- Hands-on exposure to Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, or Dynatrace, along with incident management and CI/CD fundamentals.
- Exposure to GenAI solutions, AI models, and AI-assisted developer or support workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include AI-assisted operations, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ansible, and Terraform experience.
