Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules for provisioning and configuring Azure cloud resources.
- Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code pipelines for automated deployment, updates, and decommissioning.
- Develop and enhance GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Automate operational tasks, security checks, compliance reporting, and DevOps workflows.
- Administer and optimize GitHub organizations, projects, teams, repositories, access controls, and workflows.
- Support secure, scalable, and reliable build and release pipelines in collaboration with development and QA teams.
- Monitor the health and performance of development, QA, and performance environments and perform maintenance or fixes.
- Enforce environment and application security policies and support NIST compliance practices.
- Research and implement automation tools and mentor team members on DevOps tooling best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in software development, DevOps frameworks, and DevOps methodology.
- At least 4 years of practical experience in automation build and delivery operations.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure ARM templating, Azure DevOps pipelines, infrastructure as code, Azure networking, firewalls, ExpressRoute, IPSec tunnels, Virtual WAN, and WAF.
- Experience managing GitHub organizations and projects, including access control, repository management, and configuration.
- Understanding of virtualization, operating systems, cloud platforms, networking, source code management, containers, and scripting.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Batch, and Shell scripting.
- Experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments.
- Understanding of DNS, load balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking, and security.
- Experience with cloud delivery methodologies using Microsoft Azure products and technologies.
- Experience supporting production releases and environments.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts, solve problems, coach and mentor team members, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience automating build and release changes for InRule Rules Engine, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, and Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
- Knowledge of Federal Government NIST compliance is preferred.
