Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot basic software solutions within a single technical area.
  • Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language with peer guidance.
  • Interpret architecture, design representations, and nonfunctional requirements to build stable software.
  • Use and promote validated enterprise-authorized AI-assisted practices for coding, code review, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Apply automation and reuse-first practices across the software development lifecycle to reduce manual work and improve code quality.
  • Gather and analyze basic data sets to support technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
  • Follow security, resiliency, data-handling, traceability, and auditability requirements.

Requirements

  • Baseline knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes in a technical discipline.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for software engineering workflows, including strong validation habits and data-sensitivity awareness.
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code and technical recommendations before use and escalate uncertainty appropriately.
  • Experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting expectations for validating correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and security and resiliency expectations.
  • Ability to code in one or more programming languages.
  • Understanding of software business analysis, development, maintenance, and improvement.
  • Proficiency with development toolsets.
  • Ability to work effectively in large, collaborative teams.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies is preferred.
