Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and troubleshoots basic software solutions within a defined technical area.
- Writes secure, high-quality code and develops software against established architecture and nonfunctional requirements.
- Uses and validates enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for coding, documentation, testing, code review, refactoring, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Promotes responsible AI-assisted engineering practices, including validation, secure coding, peer review, automated testing, and appropriate data handling.
- Applies SDLC toolchain automation to reduce manual toil and improve code quality, delivery speed, resiliency, and traceability.
- Gathers and analyzes basic datasets to support technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Baseline knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within a technical discipline.
- Working knowledge of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for software engineering workflows and strong validation practices.
- Ability to review and validate AI-generated code and technical recommendations while following security and data-handling requirements.
- Experience leading or promoting approved AI-assisted development practices and establishing validation expectations for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in large teams and support an inclusive, innovative culture.
- Demonstrated ability to code in one or more programming languages.
- Understanding of business analysis, software development, maintenance, and software improvement.
- Proficiency with developmental toolsets.
- Exposure to cloud technologies is preferred.
