Responsibilities
- Architect and own core systems that process millions of orders.
- Build queue-based microservices using modern technologies.
- Integrate vector databases and RAG pipelines for enhanced customer profiles.
- Ship features end-to-end, including APIs and integrations.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with the founding team on product roadmap and hiring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in backend infrastructure and distributed systems.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Fluent in JavaScript/TypeScript (Node), with some exposure to Python/ML.
- Familiarity with vector databases and RAG architectures.
- Comfortable designing schemas and scaling Postgres.
- Bonus for experience with LLMs, Shopify apps, or data-privacy frameworks.
